About the Job


The successful candidate will provide leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions and ensure company accounting procedures and reporting conform to generally accepted accounting principles.

Required Knowledge and Experience

    Qualified Chartered Accountant / Masters Degree in Finance (credible institution), Accounting with strong Accounting experience., More than 10 years experience in the Finance Controller role., Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP and financial reporting., Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems., Knowledge of central and state government financial regulations., Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections., Expertise in financial due diligence for new acquisitions., Working knowledge of short and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and financial analysis., Ability to motivate teams to manage efficiently financial health of the school and corporate accounts efficiently.,

Primary Responsibilities:

    Direct financial planning and budget management functions, Recommend benchmarks for measuring the financial and operating performance, Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, Ensure compliance with local, state, and central budgetary reporting requirements, Oversee daily operations of the finance and accounting department (corporate and schools), Manage the preparation of all financial reports, Manage the preparation of financial outlooks and financial forecasts, Financial Due diligence for new school acquisitions, Work with department managers to develop long term business plans, Assist in establishing short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures, Design, establish and maintain an organizational structure to effectively accomplish the department's goals and objectives, Serve as primary government liaison relative to financial issues, Coordinate financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements., Represent the company externally to government agencies and auditors., Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate department staff (corporate and school level)., Coordinate with the management of the MIS department to ensure company objectives are met.,
